The insider confirmed that Toyota recently organized a closed meeting with former Russian dealers in the UAE. The parties discussed not only the prospects for the resumption of cooperation, but also current problems, for example, maintenance of Chinese -made cars with the original nomenclature of spare parts.

According to unofficial data, Toyota will take from 4 to 12 months to restore business in Russia. The Japanese brand can use the fact that the company has loyal dealers, and the plant has not been restrained, that is, in theory, the site can be returned. However, it all depends on the degree of cancellation of American sanctions.

After rebooting Russian-American relations, rumors appeared about the return of the Hyundai concern to Russia.
