The footage shows a six- or seven-seat cabin configuration with captain’s chairs in the second row. Other notable features include a panoramic glass roof, USB ports in the pillars, as well as a digital instrument cluster and a large infotainment screen in the center console.
The model, according to experts, will become a production version of the bZ Large SUV concept, which was presented back in 2021. The exact name of the model has not yet been revealed. The car could be named bZ5X or even become an electric version of the Highlander (possibly a bZ Highlander variant).
Production of the new electric crossover, as Toyota previously confirmed, will be established in Kentucky (USA) using batteries that will be produced at the company’s new plant in North Carolina.
The upcoming premiere should provide answers to all questions about the name, technical characteristics and start date of sales of this important model for the US market.
