The main task of engineers at this stage is to ensure stable and correct operation of all systems of the diesel power unit in extreme cold. The Motor correspondent was told about this by the UAZ press service.
“Currently, testers are making various adjustments to the engine control unit, aimed at ensuring the correct functioning of the power unit in conditions of negative temperatures. The check covers the operation of the turbocharger, catalytic converter, and particulate filter in normal driving mode and during regeneration,” the company said.
At the same time, engineers are adjusting the car’s electronics. Features such as cruise control and the top speed limit system are calibrated at the test sites.
The debut of new products – diesel UAZ “Patriot”, “Pickup” and commercial van “Profi” – is expected in strict accordance with schedule. Market entry is planned for the end of the second and beginning of the third quarter of 2025.
Earlier it was reported that UAZ could organize assembly in Pakistan.
