The updated Taigun combines design solutions of Chinese and European models. In addition, the car received expanded technological equipment in the interior. Carscoops reports this.
Taigun has been produced since 2021 and is sold in India and Mexico. Its length is 4221 mm, which is longer than the Brazilian Tera and the European T-Cross. In terms of dimensions, it is close to the Chinese models Tharu XR and T-Cross.
The updated Taigun features a redesigned front end reminiscent of a smaller Tiguan. The design is borrowed from the Chinese Tharu XR (a joint venture between SAIC and VW). A narrower grille, redesigned headlights and neat air intakes make the look modern, but not overloaded.
The exterior remains largely the same, with the exception of new 17-inch alloy wheels and a fresh color scheme. At the rear, the Taigun gets updated full-width LED taillight graphics and a slightly redesigned bumper.
The Taigun’s interior now features 10.1-inch multimedia and an 8-inch digital instrument panel (in most versions). New options include ventilated front seats with power driver adjustment, a larger panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, ambient lighting and, on the GT trim, faux leather.
