There were a couple of weeks to the debut of the novelty, which the Swedish Mark calls his “most powerful car in terms of the main computing power.” The S90 battery will receive two NVIDIA Drive AGX Orin chips with a total capacity of 508 trillion operations per second. The computer will control the “smart” functions of active security, car sensors and the battery.
ES90 will become the second Volvo model after the EX90 crossover, the computing part of which is based on the Volvo Cars Superset technological stack. Thanks to him, the car will constantly improve, the Swedes promise: using the “air” updates, the capabilities of the model of deep training will expand, the safety, performance and even the “driving styles” will increase. All updates for owners will be free.
For ES90, one Lidar, five radars, eight cameras and twelve ultrasonic sensors are declared. The advanced system of recognition of the driver’s condition, which Time magazine called one of the best inventions of 2024, was also promised.

The ES90 will be based on the SPA2 platform (Scalable Product Architecture), developed together with the Chinese Geely. It also built an EX90 crossover. In length, the sedan will stretch by 4.99 meters, the width will be 1.94 meters, and the height – 1.54 with a large wheelbase – 3.1 meters.
New items are not for us: what Volvo is preparing for 2025. Volvo updated the XC60 crossover, the VOLVO EX30 CROSS Country Electric Electric Card is represented
The novelty is read by power plants with a capacity of 279 to 517 horsepower, the rear and all -wheel drive. The capacity of the traction battery is 111 kilowat-hours, like the EX90, and the margin is about 600 kilometers. EX90 in the all -wheel drive version of Performance accelerates from a place to 100 kilometers per hour, and the sedan will probably be more dynamic, since it is easier on a centner.
The world premiere of Volvo ES90 is scheduled for March 5. In the market, the novelty will compete with the BMW i5, Mercedes-Benz EQE and Audi A6 E-Tron.
