Advertisements for the sale of four-engine Z9 GT models have been spotted on classification sites. We are talking about the Denza hatchback, a subsidiary of BYD. The debut on the Chinese market took place in November 2024, and just recently the first “nines” reached our country. The hybrid top version Ultra with a power of 870 horsepower and a power reserve of up to 1,100 kilometers is sold in Tatarstan for 8,490,000 rubles.

Denza Z9 GT is a business class hatchback with a length of 5180 mm and a wheelbase of 3125 mm. In China, there are five modifications with a hybrid or purely electric power plant, but the most expensive modification with a 2.0-liter gasoline engine (207 hp) and a three-motor e3 electric system is available in Russia. Peak output is 870 horsepower and 1035 Nm, a 38.5-kilowatt-hour battery is enough for 201 kilometers without activating the internal combustion engine.

In hybrid mode, this Denza D9 GT can travel up to 1,101 kilometers, although maintaining fuel consumption at 3.45 liters per 100 kilometers will not be easy. Especially if you check the dynamics: acceleration 0-100 is achievable in 3.6 seconds, and the maximum speed of the car with a curb weight of 2.8 tons is 230 km/h. There are many options: there is a fully controlled chassis, air suspension, crab mode, heating, ventilation and massage of all seats, as well as an audio system with 26 speakers.

In the Middle Kingdom, the top-end hybrid Denza Z9 GT costs 415 thousand yuan ($56.6 thousand), and taking into account the increase in recycling fees, the Russian price for an available hatchback does not look excessively high. Other sellers are ready to bring similar five-doors to order even cheaper. On Russian streets, the Denza Z9 GT is still a novelty.
