A BMW and its driver were blown up in Balashikha, and it was caught on video

The incident occurred in the early morning of June 9 in a parking lot.

The moment was captured on a street surveillance camera. The footage shows the car exploding, after which smoke starts coming out of it. In the recording, you can also hear the sounds of alarms going off in neighboring cars. According to Readovka, after the incident the car crashed into another parked vehicle.

Eyewitness Huseyn said that he put out the fire himself and pulled the driver of the foreign car out of the car. The victim wheezed and tried to say something. Then the man dragged him 10-15 meters and tried to provide first aid. An ambulance and other emergency services were called by other witnesses who rushed to the scene immediately after the explosion.

Residents of Balashikha, in a conversation with MSK1.RU, spoke about the first minutes after a car explosion in a microdistrict built on the site of a former military airfield.

One of the local residents told the publication that they went out onto the balcony and witnessed how rescuers tried to break open the car door to get the victim out. According to him, the situation was extremely alarming. Another resident admitted that she was late for work because of the incident. She explained that the whole family woke up from a loud sound, were very scared, and her younger sister even cried. They later learned that a car had exploded.
