The Vanquish has received four additional tailpipes, signaling the development of a more powerful version of the S. The Vanquish now tops Gaydon’s GT line-up, and the new variant will inherit features from the recently launched DB12 S, including improved aerodynamics and a custom exhaust system. Carscoops reports this.
The prototype is finished in matte black, with green camouflage highlighting the more aggressive front splitter. At the same time, the overall body design is practically no different from the standard version of Vanquish. Particularly noteworthy are the 21‑inch forged Y‑Spoke wheels, borrowed from the compact Vantage S. Aston Martin has already used this approach before: it allows you to strengthen the model without making fundamental changes to the wheelbase.
The back of the prototype is of particular interest. A large part of the tailgate is made in the form of a mesh, behind which two enlarged exhaust pipes are visible – they are located behind the four standard Vanquish pipes. Additionally, two more pipes are installed in the diffuser area. As a result, the car is already equipped with eight exhaust pipes.
