A car transporter transporting a Volga C50 sedan and a Volga K50 crossover was spotted near a car dealership of one of the large dealer networks in Nizhny Novgorod. The purpose for which the cars of the revived Soviet brand arrived at the point of sale is not specified.
The Volga brand range will include several models. The first is the C50 sedan based on the Geely Preface with a 2-liter engine with 150 or 200 hp, a 7-speed robot and front-wheel drive.
Also waiting for the public is the K40 crossover based on the Geely Atlas. The initial versions of the K40 will receive a 1.5-liter engine with 147 hp, front-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic transmission, while the top versions will have a 2-liter engine with 200 hp, all-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The Volga K50, that is, the renamed Geely Monjaro, is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine producing 238 hp. s, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Prices for all listed models will appear in the summer. At the same time, the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region boasted about buying the first Volga K50: he said that he had already driven the car and called it wonderful.
The revived Volga is a Russian brand launched in 2026 by the Passenger Car Production (PLA) company in Nizhny Novgorod. Essentially, these are Chinese models adapted for the Russian market.
