A cheap version of the Great Wall Poer pickup will appear in Russia

A car with a manual transmission will be 250 thousand rubles cheaper than the currently most affordable version with an automatic transmission. Previously, the model was offered with an 8-speed automatic transmission for the gasoline version and a 9-speed automatic transmission for the diesel version. The new modification with a 6-speed manual transmission is designed for more intensive use and high loads.

A manual transmission is combined with both engines. The 2.0 petrol turbo engine develops 218 hp. and 380 Nm, and the 2.4 diesel produces 163 hp. and 400 Nm of torque. With “mechanics” the pickup’s load capacity reaches 975 kg, and it can also tow a trailer weighing up to 2250 kg, equipped with brakes.

Versions with manual transmission are equipped with all-wheel drive with a rigidly connected front axle (part-time) without a center differential. This Great Wall Poer has a reduction gear and forced locking of the rear differential. The pickup also received a radiator grille with a large silver emblem, LED optics, 17-inch alloy wheels and a front bumper with a protective cover made of unpainted plastic.

A manual pickup truck will be available only in the Comfort package, which includes climate control and cruise control, leatherette upholstery seats, keyless entry, heated front seats, steering wheel and windshield wiper rest zones.

There is a 12-inch touch screen media system and an analog instrument panel. The cost of a GWM Poer with a manual transmission in the “Comfort” configuration will be 3.45 million rubles (for both gasoline, motor, and diesel engines). The start of sales is scheduled for the end of June 2026.
