A cryoversion has appeared in the range of Valdai 45 truck tractors

The new product consumes “cryogas” LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas), that is, liquefied methane cooled to -163°C. At the same time, according to the distributor of the Valdai brand, the STT company, the model is equipped with a large engine – 14.8 liters. For comparison, in this class the most common cubic capacity is from 11 to 13 liters.

“Valdai 45” is a two-axle long-haul tractor equipped with a robotic gearbox and a 470-horsepower six-cylinder turbodiesel with a volume of 11.8 liters.

The LNG version has a completely different engine – with a volume of 14.8 liters and a power of 570 hp. With. (2600 Nm). That is, carriers will have access to one of the most powerful trucks on the Russian market.

The project is based on a redesigned Foton Auman EST, but the Chinese source is assembled at the facilities of the Gorky Automobile Plant by the independent company NGA.

The domestically assembled model differs from its prototype, first of all, in the additional insulation of the cabin module and enhanced anti-corrosion treatment.
