A federal ranking of driving schools will appear in Russia

On June 10, the State Duma adopted in the first reading a bill on assessing the quality of the work of driving schools, Kommersant writes with reference to the base of the lower house. They plan to publish a rating with schools on a special website, which will be constantly updated. There it will be possible to both find out details about institutions and leave reviews about their work.

The bill, which has two more readings in the State Duma, will amend the law “On Road Safety”. The system of assessing driving schools will be developed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Among the criteria under consideration – the number of accidents whose participants were graduates, and the share of the exam on the first time.

A single federal rating will increase competition between schools, and therefore, will improve the quality of drivers’ training, said the deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Igor Zubov. Earlier, the draft law was criticized in the driving schools themselves, noting that there is no connection between the accident and the quality of their work.

Russians will cancel the driver’s license when health deterioration in Russia has expired to automatically extend the driver’s license, Russians want to be allowed to submit to the rights without training in a driving school

According to the ministry, last year only 14 percent of candidates for drivers passed a practical exam on the first attempt. In total, about 7.5 thousand driving schools operate in Russia, of which about six thousand are taught to category B.

In May, AvtoVAZ resumed LADA Granta’s release for novice drivers. A special modification with the equipped workplace of the instructor, with duplicate brake pedals and clutch, as well as a separate rear -view mirror, returned to the conveyor. Such a grant costs 1,079,000 rubles.
