A list of best -selling cars in Moscow has been compiled

Since January 2025, 67 thousand new cars were sold in the capital, which is 28 percent less than in the same period of 2024. At the same time, 65 percent of them – Chinese, calculated in Avtostat. Over the year, the leader changed: instead of Geely, the first place in sales in the capital is now occupied by Haval, which sold 7.1 thousand cars.

Geely this time was in the second position in popularity. For the first half of 2025, the brand cars bought 6.8 thousand Muscovites. The domestic LADA rose to third place with 4.9 thousand cars, overtaking the Chinese Chery. The latter in six months managed to sell 4.7 thousand cars.

The following is the Belarusian-Chinese brand Belgee with 4.4 thousand units. In the rest of the “official” brands, the result did not overcome the mark of four thousand sold cars.

As for the models, the most popular in the capital of the capital in January-June was Geely Monjaro: 2.7 thousand people were chosen on it. The second was the Belgee X50 with a small lag – 2.6 thousand sold, and the third – Haval Jolion, which was the leader in 2024. Jolion bought 2.4 thousand Muscovites.

The five leaders also included Belgee X70 and Lada Granta, the indicators of which are 1.9 thousand and 1.8 thousand cars, respectively.

The import of new cars to Russia fell sharply. For six months, less than 150 thousand pieces were imported, which is 63 percent less than a year earlier. As then, now cars from China prevail in imports.
