At the same time, the cost of driving on car sharing is on average 12.4 rubles per minute, which, with an average speed on Moscow highways of 47.6 kilometers per hour, will cost drivers 234.5 thousand rubles per year.
In the fall, experts calculated that about half of Moscow car owners use car sharing—47 percent of the capital’s motorists rent cars. Most often these are family men aged 40 with seven years of driving experience.
