The car, produced in 1968, appeared on the auto.ru classifieds website a few days ago. The car has had one owner for 48 years.
“The 1968 Lamborghini Miura dates back to the early production of the P400, the version that ushered in the era of the mid-engined road car,” the ad says.
The car’s body was designed by Bertone, and its proportions are directly determined by the mid-engine layout: the low body line, the cabin shifted forward and the characteristic shape of the front end create that same reference silhouette, the seller noted.
He also said that the presented car had undergone a complete restoration. The body and interior have been restored to original specification with a quality paint finish.
The supercar is equipped with a 3.9-liter engine producing 370 hp. and a five-speed manual transmission. This configuration allows the Miura P400 to accelerate to 100 km/h in approximately 6.3-7.0 s. and reach a maximum speed of 280 km/h. When production began in 1966, the Miura was the fastest production road car.
