According to the auction house Bring a Trailer, the car is equipped with a powerful Millington engine and a Rocket Bunny body kit.
The car was purchased by Ken Block in 2008, after which it underwent a complete redesign. The Quick Motorsport workshop was involved in preparations for the Gymkhana Grid competition. Little remains of the production Escort: the body has been strengthened and supplemented with carbon elements, including an air intake on the roof and a wing.
Under the hood is a 2.5-litre Millington Diamond four-cylinder engine with a Cosworth ECU. The engine produces 333 hp. s, and its red zone reaches 9000 rpm. The gearbox is a six-speed sequential, the drive is rear-wheel drive.
The vehicle weighs only 906 kg. The interior is completely utilitarian: two Recaro buckets, a new dashboard, a Sparco steering wheel and the signature of Ken Block himself on the door card.
This is one of the few Gymkhana cars that had a direct connection to the racer, and is of interest to both collectors and those who want the experience of driving a car prepared in the style of Ken Block.
The current bid at the auction is $215 thousand (17.4 million rubles at the exchange rate at the time of publication).
