According to Shot, 23-year-old Vadim and his friend Daria were riding a sports motorcycle from Koh Samui to Phuket when a car driven by a local resident crashed into the rear wheel of their bike.
“The blogger flew forward from the impact, hit his head on the curb, as a result of which his helmet was pierced. Doctors tried to save the Russian, but they failed,” the channel reports.
His companion, who was with him, was taken to a medical facility with multiple bruises and fractures; her condition is assessed as serious.
The blogger was known as one of the creators of a community for Russian-speaking residents of Phuket, the goal of which was to help them with work and communication.
