Alfa Romeo GT received digital tuning with round headlights in classic style

Produced from 2003 to 2010, the Alfa Romeo GT – a coupe based on the 147 hatchback and 156 sedan platform – was the brand’s last model created by Bertone, and the last with a Busso V6 engine. Due to low prices on the secondary market, the idea arose to turn such a car into an exotic custom with a unique character, reports Carscoops.

The goal of the project was to combine the classic features of Alfa Romeo with the elegant lines of the donor body. The author sought to create a car that could look worthy at the Villa d’Este Concours d’Elegance. The first public reviews indicate that such an interpretation may cause mixed reactions.

The main focus of the tuning is the front end, which received round headlights and air intakes, reminiscent of the classic Giulia Sprint GT and 1750 GT Veloce. To achieve this look, they installed a new bumper, a larger Scudetto grille, custom LEDs and a hood with aggressive graphics reminiscent of the Brera and 159.

In profile, all elements remained unchanged: the roof, pillars, mirrors and doors – no changes. The updates affected only the position of the body: the car became lower and wider. This was achieved through widened fenders, larger wheels, brakes from the Giulia Intensa and Quadrifoglio, as well as a reduced ground clearance. This stance gives the car a look that the factory model never had.
