All you need to know about the new Dongfeng Mage crossover for Russia

Another Dongfeng model will soon appear on sale – the MAGE medium -size crossover, which will compete with Geely Atlas. The Russians will be offered a novelty with a 197-horsepower DFM-Honda turbo engine, a “robot” of Getrag and a wide set of equipment: two screens in the cabin, a panoramic roof with a hatch, a two-zone climate control and not only. Prices have not yet been announced, but in neighboring Belarus, which became the first export market for the post -Soviet space for Mage, the model costs from 87.2 thousand Belarusian rubles (2.1 million rubles in Russian).

Dongfeng Mage-a city front-wheel drive crossover with a length of 4.65 meters with a wheelbase of 2.77 meters, with a 202-mm road clearance and a gasoline engine under the hood (in China and Belarus, the model also has a hybrid modification). For Russia, the recoil of a two -liter turbo engine with a volume of 1.5 liters was reduced from 204 to 197 horsepower, the gearbox – a seven -speed robotic with double “wet” clutch.

From the equipment, the interior interior, a multifunction steering wheel, a touchscreen of a multimedia system with a diagonal of 14.6 inches and a 10.25 -inch di -drama diagonal, are declared. The audio system has six speakers, there is a wireless charging for a smartphone, cooled boxing in the central armrest, front seats with electric controls and a “memory” function (at the driver’s chair).

The function of remote engine starts is declared, and the multimedia system is Russified. The body elements of the crossover underwent anti -corrosion treatment and additional cataphore galvanizing.

In Belarus, where Dongfeng Mage has been sold since the fall of last year, the model is available with both the hybrid power plant and with the usual DFM-Honda gasoline engine in conjunction with the Robot. The hybrid mage faster and more powerful than the usual usual one-it has a 292-horsepower installation, and acceleration from place to “hundreds” takes six seconds instead of 8.5. It consumes a hybrid five liters of fuel per 100 kilometers.

Whether Hybrid Mage will appear in Russia is still unknown.
