Assembly of a new Peugeot model will begin in the Kaluga region

The Automotive Technologies company will produce the new product from the French concern. An employee of the company reported this to Izvestia. Today, the Citroen C5 Aircross is produced at the site. In addition, the company’s specialists supply four more models of the French brand to the Russian market.

Sales of the new Peugeot are scheduled for the first quarter of next year. At the same time, company representatives have not yet announced which model will appear on the Russian market.

The new Peugeot 5008 was brought to Russia: how much does it cost? Online sales of Citroen and Peugeot will be launched in Russia. The Chinese Peugeot pickup truck has acquired an Italian diesel engine and a new ZF automatic transmission.

“Automotive Technologies” assembles the Citroen C5 Aircross in Kaluga from spare parts supplied by a “friendly partner.” The model comes with a three-year warranty. The Citroen C5X crossback, as well as crossovers 2008, 4008 and 5008, are also brought to Russia. All cars are covered by a warranty of two years or one hundred thousand kilometers.

The fact that a new model would be “registered” at a plant in the Kaluga region became known in early November. Then experts reported that a Chinese car would be put on the assembly line.
