The Audi concept is considered a new reading of Quattro. Special gearboxes were developed for the machine, which, firstly, allowed to increase road clearance by 160 millimeters (up to 324 mm), and secondly, increasing the torque on wheels by 50% (typical gearboxes give 20-30%). It is stated that the thrust can reach 13,400 Newton-meters for 10 seconds, 4400 nm more than that of a conventional electric car.
The track at the concept is 250 millimeters wider and, because of a higher center of gravity, it can accelerate only up to 175 kilometers per hour-but no more. But on it you can storm the 45-degree slopes. Also, the Q6 E-Tron Offroad has an impressive type of towing eye, spotlights in the front bumper and the trunk on the roof with additional lighting equipment.
The power plant includes two electric motors with a combined return of up to 517 horsepower. The battery capacity is 100 kilowatt hours (94.9 kWh) are available. The usual SQ6 Sportback E-Tron with active Lonch control accelerates to “hundreds” in 4.3 seconds; Travel margin – 607 kilometers. The concept indicators are not voiced, but on February 1, Audi promises to show it in action on the Fat Ice Race ice highway.
