Audi will update the Q3 and A7 in 2025

The German automaker reported on sales for last year and shared its immediate plans. At the end of 2024, Audi sales volumes decreased by 11.8 percent, to 1.67 million units, and demand for electric vehicles fell by eight percent. In Germany, sales fell by 21.3 percent, and declines were also recorded in the markets of China, North America and Europe as a whole. However, with the update of existing models and the expansion of the hybrid line-up, Audi expects to improve its performance in 2025.

The company itself attributes the drop in sales to “difficult economic conditions, fierce competition in the market and limited availability of spare parts.” Audi is currently in the process of updating its lineup, and the focus will no longer be on pure electric cars, but on hybrids.

In the past 2024, the brand managed to update the A5 and Q5, as well as the A6 and Q6 e-tron, and the restyling of two more models, Q3 and A7, is planned for 2025. In addition, Audi promises to show a whole bunch of “new plug-in hybrids.” The prototype of the updated Q3 has already been spotted during road tests – its appearance will be corrected, as a result of which the design will become more expressive. The A7, in turn, will replace the current A6 and will be available in both sedan and station wagon body styles (including an Allroad version).

In mid-December, it became known that Audi would retire the Q8 e-tron in 2025 – the German brand intends to close the plant in Brussels, where this battery-powered model is currently being produced.
