The leaders of the decline in January 2026 were the Mercedes-Benz V-Class, Chery Tiggo 4 and Exeed LX. The commercial director of Avto.ru, Daniil Shkurygin, told the TASS agency about this.
The top ten price reduction leaders also included: Haval Jolion, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Range Rover, Exeed TXL, Cadillac Escalade, Kia Rio and Geely Coolray.
As Shkurygin explained, over the past 12 months there has been a steady decline in the average cost of cars on the secondary market. The reason is a noticeable increase in supply from private sellers in all price categories with restrained demand.
“However, January of this year was the first month to reverse the trend, and we again saw a slight increase in the average cost of a used car,” the expert added.
