Auto expert Tselikov: the average price of Chinese cars on the Russian market has increased by 30%

The average cost of a new car from China in January-April this year reached 3.5 million rubles. For comparison: four years ago, in 2022, this figure was 2.7 million rubles. This was announced by the head of the analytical agency “Avtostat” Sergei Tselikov in his Telegram channel.

“It can be stated that over four years, the average cost of a Chinese car (including brands built on Chinese models) has increased by only 30%,” the expert noted.

According to him, according to the same methodology (20 leading brands in sales), last year Chinese cars cost an average of 2.4 million rubles. The increase in the first four months of this year was 3.2%. The data is based on 9.5 million advertisements on three classifications for the period from January 2022 to April 2026.
