According to him, the model is distinguished by durable suspension and high-quality interior materials. Gasoline turbo engines of 1.4 and 2.0 volume have become more reliable after all modernizations and can last up to 250-300 thousand kilometers. However, by 150 thousand kilometers, problems with carbon deposits and chains are possible. The 2.0 diesel engine is considered the most resourceful. The main potential disadvantage is the seven-speed DL382 robot, the repair of which can be very expensive.
Next comes the BMW 3 Series (F30 generation, restyling). The main advantage of the model is the reliable ZF hydraulic automatic transmission, which, with careful operation, runs for more than 250 thousand kilometers. However, there are questions about the quality of body paint and corrosion protection. Interior trim, especially faux leather, wears out quickly, and electronics (parking sensors, heater motor) can malfunction. The most problematic gasoline engine is the younger 1.6 liter.
In third place is the Genesis G70. This is a representative of the premium Hyundai sub-brand, which has been sold in Russia since 2017. In terms of reliability, equipment and corrosion resistance, it is not inferior to its German classmates. The owners include a small trunk (only 330 liters) and a cramped rear row as disadvantages. The 2.0 turbo engine is generally quite reliable and can travel up to 300 thousand kilometers. Diesel 2.2 is a proven unit. All versions are equipped with an A8LR1 hydraulic automatic transmission, which requires intervention only after 200-250 thousand kilometers, the expert noted.
