Autoexpert Tselikov: the share of imports of used cars from China has decreased from 60% to 2%

In the first four months, 28,860 used cars from China (over three years old) were imported into Russia. Only 562 of them (2%) have more than 160 horsepower. The head of the analytical agency Avtostat, Sergei Tselikov, reported this on his Telegram channel.

“Until December 1 last year, such cars accounted for more than 60% of Chinese second-hand imports. Now 60% falls on cars with a power of 140-160 hp. Every sixth car (17.5%) has a power of 120-140 hp. The remaining cars (20.5%) come with an engine of up to 120 hp,” the expert reports.

According to him, the leader among used cars imported from China was the Toyota Corolla. In four months, the Russians imported 2,136 such cars.
