Autostat: in Russia, sales of Xcite crossovers decreased by 3 times in a month

In February 2026, only 128 new cars of this brand were registered, the production of which was carried out at the former Nissan plant in St. Petersburg. The stocks of unsold Xcite will soon run out, Sergei Tselikov, CEO of the analytical agency Autostat, warned in his Telegram channel.

“In total, just under 19.7 thousand Xcite cars were produced. Including: a little more than 15.2 thousand X-cross 7 and a little less than 4.5 thousand X-cross 8. The assembly of Xcite cars stopped at the beginning of 2025. Dealers are still selling stocks,” Tselikov wrote.

According to him, in January 2026, 354 Xcite cars were registered in Russia. A total of 18.7 cars of this brand have been sold since the start of sales. In addition to new crossovers, dealers offer used test vehicles for sale, the head of Avtostat clarified.

Sales of the Xcite X-Cross 7 started in the spring of 2024. In the fall of the same year, the Xcite X-Cross 8 crossover entered the assembly line of the plant in St. Petersburg. The Xcite X-Cross 7 is sold in Russia at a recommended retail price of 2.55 million rubles or 2.2 million rubles taking into account discounts and other benefits. The minimum price of X-Cross 8 is from 2.5 million rubles.

Earlier it became known that Chevrolet will get rid of the Corvette name, which misleads customers.
