Avtostat: Tenet T4 became the best-selling SUV in Russia for the first time

The best-selling crossover on the Russian market was Tenet T4. Experts from the Autostat agency report this with reference to data from PPK JSC (Passport Industrial Consulting).

“Based on the results of the 3rd week of 2026 (from January 12 to 18), 1,342 TENET T4 crossovers were sold in Russia. the achieved result allowed this model to become the most popular in the SUV segment for the first time. The second position in this ranking was taken by another TENET model – the T7 crossover (1,115 units),” the publication says.

According to the agency, Haval Jolion is also in demand among Russians. Sales volumes of other crossover models amounted to less than 800 units, with the most popular being Lada Niva Legend, Lada Niva Travel, Mazda CX-5, Haval M6, Geely Monjaro, Belgee X50 and Jetour T1.

Previously, auto expert Zinoviev noted that a used Ford Grand, which can be purchased for 1.5 million rubles, is resistant to rust. Among the shortcomings, the auto expert noted the high cost of repairs; 1.5 EcoBoost petrol turbo engines are “too risky an option.”
