AvtoVAZ explained the zero sales of E-Largus electric car in 2024

In an interview with the Drom.ru portal, Vice President for Sales and Marketing Dmitry Kostromin shared the difficulties related to the project. The LADA top manager admitted: the price of an E-Largus electric car turned out to be “difficult to implement this machine”, taking into account competition from Chinese brands. At AvtoVAZ they confirmed that the first electric car was already registered; The next batch is waiting in April.

The production of Lada E-Largus in Izhevsk began at the end of September, then pre-orders began to be accepted. Given state subsidies, the electric car costs 2.99 million rubles: almost twice as much as the basic gasoline version.
