AvtoVAZ registered a new name for LADA

In the open database of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS), data on the registration of the Lada Yarus trademark appeared. Perhaps the unusual name will get one of the future models of the Togliatti plant, but so far there are no details about it

Interestingly, the copyright holder is not indicated in the application – according to the last year’s government decree, this is now not necessary. However, the address in Togliatti is indicated, at which the AvtoVAZ scientific and technical center is located.

FIPS

The trademark is registered for three grade of goods and services. So, under the name Lada Yarus, the copyright holder will be able to produce cars and spare parts, toys with remote control and modeling, as well as carry out repairs and maintenance.

AvtoVAZ has many not used names in stock. For example, in February of this year, the auto giant registered three items – Tigris, Ariva and Parus, and last year he stacked the trademarks Retiva, Altra, Azimut, Gravis, Merida, Tarusa Ixtour.

One of them-Azimut-as already known, went to the crossover based on Vesta, the prototype of which was shown at the PMEF-2025. It will be offered in several modifications with 1.6 and 1.8 liters of increased power. Sales should start in 2026.
