AvtoVAZ revealed the average salary of workers at the plant

In a conversation with the Tolyatti 24 TV channel, Dmitry Mikhalenko, vice president of the auto giant for personnel and social policy, spoke about the dynamics of income growth. The top manager said that based on the results of 11 months of 2024, the average salary for the main working specialties was more than 99 thousand rubles; personnel excluding managers receive an average of 94,960 rubles. Salaries are indexed at a faster pace.

AvtoVAZ considers the auto giant a benchmark for companies in the Samara region in terms of wages. This year, from February 1, rates were indexed by nine percent, and from September 1 – by five percent. Also, three bonuses will be paid per year: two in the amount of 14 thousand rubles (for each half-year) and one in the amount of 10 thousand rubles for the production of the millionth car.

The head of AvtoVAZ explained the halt in production of Lada Vesta and Niva. Photos of Lada Iskra prototypes crashed in crash tests appeared. An advertising brochure for Lada with a local fashion model was shown in Iran.

However, the open vacancies at AvtoVAZ do not offer such attractive salaries. The target 95-99 thousand rubles (or larger amounts) are offered by default only to managers: head of department and head of service. Among blue-collar professions, only turners, toolmakers and milling operators will be able to achieve a salary of over 90 thousand rubles without overtime. Minimum rates have increased by only five percent since April. For example, salaries for technicians and design technicians increased from 25,700 to 27,000 rubles.

As of mid-December 2024, AvtoVAZ has about 120 vacancies open, the minimum salary is 27 thousand rubles, and the maximum, excluding overtime, is willing to pay qualified applicants up to 137 thousand rubles. According to official estimates, over the past two years the average salary at Lada factories in Togliatti has more than doubled.
