Baza: auto parts in Russia have risen in price over the year to 40%

According to the Baza Telegram channel, we are talking about such consumables for cars as pads, filters, shock absorbers.

“By 2026, basic auto parts have risen in price by an average of 20 to 40%. The reasons are the same – parallel imports complicate logistics, taxes are rising, and customs checks are becoming stricter. Also, for European cars, original parts are very rare,” the channel reports.

Basic items have increased in price the most: brake pads, oil filters and shock absorbers. Standard maintenance for an economy class car now costs 8-16 thousand rubles instead of 6-12 thousand a year ago. For the premium segment, prices for maintenance increased from 12-20 thousand to 20-40 thousand rubles, the publication notes.

While budget cars still have a choice of non-original spare parts, owners of a BMW 3 Series or Mercedes-Benz C-Class are faced with a serious problem. A year ago, the maintenance of such a machine cost 120-180 thousand rubles, and now – 160-250 thousand, and this is only basic maintenance without taking into account serious breakdowns, the authors of the study noted.

Earlier it was reported that sales of the updated Tank 700 would start in China.
