Drivers cannot exchange licenses, check vehicle details or register a vehicle. This was reported by the Baza Telegram channel.
“Since the end of March, the official traffic police portal has been working with severe interruptions. According to users, they cannot apply to change their license, obtain a certificate, or register their car. Everything that could previously be done remotely can now only be done through the traffic police department,” the publication says.
In addition, the section on the traffic police website does not allow you to check whether a car has restrictions – it is now impossible to find out whether a car has been seized. Sellers of used cars note that before a transaction, buyers often want to check the car for encumbrances, but this cannot be done: the service has not been available for several months.
