The first and main drawback is weak dynamics. Under the hood there is a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with a power of 122 hp, which is very little in these days. When traveling along the highway with a full load or uphill, overtaking trucks requires composure and preliminary calculation from the driver, the magazine notes.

The second disadvantage is ergonomic oddities: the steering wheel is adjustable both in height and reach, but the range of settings is small, so a comfortable fit is not suitable for everyone. Experts advise making sure to take a test drive before purchasing.

The third drawback is the plastic in the cabin: as the publication notes, “a neighbor in Logan will have approximately the same plastic in the cabin.” This is a utilitarian car, not a premium one. It is also worth considering the ground clearance of 151 mm (fair, but not for off-road) and the rear beam instead of a multi-link – this is cheaper to maintain, but affects comfort.

Bottom line: Belgee S50 is not suitable for those who need a car with 150+ horsepower. For such models you will have to go far beyond 2 million rubles, while the S50 costs from 1.9 million without discounts.
