Auto expert Sergei Zinoviev noted that the crossover may have problems with the engine intake system, with the clutch assembly of the Getrag 7DCT300 robotic gearbox and with the electronics in the keyless entry system.
“Officially, such cars have been sold here since the spring of 2022 – immediately in an updated version. Earlier machines penetrated through other channels. Only the front-wheel drive version costs 1.5 million rubles: the combination of engine and variator is identical to the Tiggo 7 Pro,” the expert said.
According to him, an all-wheel drive car costs 500 thousand rubles more. Under the hood of this version is a 1.6-liter SQRF4J16 turbo engine (150 hp) with direct injection, paired with a Getrag 7DCT300 robot. The unit prefers AI-95 gasoline and up to 100-150 thousand km does not cause any serious trouble – unless it requires cleaning the intake system. But the robot’s service life is less predictable: a clutch assembly with two “wet” discs will most likely require replacement after 100 thousand km.
Zinoviev also noted that the main source of problems is the numerous electronics. Most often, owners are faced with a failure of the keyless entry system. At the same time, there are no complaints about the mechanics and chassis. The final verdict of the expert: the all-wheel drive version is unreasonably expensive.
