Belgee plant to double the number of robots

At the time of the launch of the Belgi plant near Minsk, the enterprise had 34 robotic systems. From 2018 to the present day, the number of robots has been doubled – to 70 pieces. And now the production site is awaiting a new stage of modernization.

In 2026, the Belgee plant plans to double the number of robots, the company’s general director Gennady Svidersky told ONT TV channel. With an increase in the degree of automation, the quality of manufactured machines should increase.

In addition, the company will organize stamping of bodies. At the moment, the Belpromproekt Institute is working on designing an additional expansion of the welding shop and organizing the production of the stamping shop.

Let us remind you that Belgee is currently producing three models using the full cycle method: the compact crossover X50 (Geely Coolray), the mid-size SUV X70 (Geely Atlas Pro) and the S50 sedan (Geely Emgrand).
