In the second quarter alone, the number of dealerships in Russia changed to 137 to 2.95 thousand units, and dealerships – 183 to 4.33 thousand. Dealers also get rid of unprofitable contracts with brands with small sales. For example, the Lamborghini car sales point in Moscow City, which was driven by Avtodom, has recently closed.

Dealers note that the Russian market is switching to a Chinese business model for which sales are more important than service. Manufacturers are now interested in capturing the market at all costs.
In this regard, market players look at the future with apathy and even pessimism: according to various estimates, until next year they will not survive 10–20 percent of car dealerships. First of all, at the risk group Kaiyi, BAIC and Livan, as well as the Russian Moskvich and Sollers, they believe.
From January to June of this year, the Russians bought 607 thousand units of transport-28 percent less than during the same period of 2024. Sales of cars fell by 26 percent, without reaching a bar of 527 thousand pieces.
