Only six months after entering the Kazakhstan market, the Chinese car manufacturer BYD will present here its already fifth model – the Sealion 7 electric crossover.

Sealion 7 is built on the E-Platform EVERTUM Platform. A recognizable design in the style of Ocean Series has a silhouette with a sloping roof, narrow LED optics and drawing door handles. The length of the car is 4,830 millimeters, the width is 1,925 millimeters, the height is 1 620 millimeters, the wheelbase is 2,930 millimeters.

In a salon designed for five, attention is drawn to a large 15.6-inch screen of a multimedia system with a rotation function of 90 degrees. The dashboard is represented by a 10.25-inch digital display.

Kazakhstani buyers will be offered two versions. The base 567 KM Flagship is equipped with one electric motor at the rear axle with a capacity of 313 horsepower. Acceleration to 100 kilometers per hour is possible in 6.7 seconds. AWD 542 KM Flagship top -wheel drive has two 530 horsepower engines with a total capacity of 530. Up to 100 kilometers per hour acceleration is carried out in just 4.5 seconds. Both configurations use a traction battery with a capacity of 82.5 kilowatt-hour, which provides a move from 542 to 567 kilometers along the NEDC cycle.

The starting price of the rear -wheel drive version is set at 20.39 million tenge (about 3 million rubles). For this money, the buyer will receive 19-inch alloy wheels, Dynaudio audio system with 12 speakers, a panoramic roof, eco-leather seat, trunk electric drive and a built-in video recorder.

The all-wheel drive version will cost 22.49 million tenge (about 3.3 million rubles), but in this case the car will have 20-inch wheels, NAPPA leather upholstery, a projection display and a contactless opening of the trunk.

It is noted that in the neighboring Uzbekistan, where Sealion 7 is already sold, the basic version costs 451.1 million soums (about 2.9 million rubles). The all -wheel drive version will cost 503 million soums (about 3.2 million rubles). Salm -shaped mathematics gives the right to conclude that in Kazakhstan the model costs somewhat more expensive than in a neighboring country.
