The D-segment model received a 2+2+3 seating arrangement and four multimedia screens. Later, the manufacturer also plans to release a plug-in hybrid version of the car. CarNewsChina reports this.

“There are three screens on the dashboard: the instrument panel, the central control screen and the co-pilot entertainment screen, which is seamlessly integrated into the panel, creating a concave effect. The screen sizes have not yet been disclosed,” the publication says.

Rear seat passengers are equipped with an overhead entertainment screen, folding tables and a refrigerator. The new BYD Great Tang has the following dimensions: length is from 5263 to 5302 mm (depending on the version), width – 1999 mm, height – from 1790 to 1800 mm. The wheelbase reaches 3130 mm. The curb weight of the car varies between 2640-2970 kg, and the maximum permissible gross weight is from 3245 to 3575 kg.

BYD will offer Great Tang buyers a choice of two configurations: rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. Both versions are equipped with a BYD Blade battery. Rear-wheel drive versions will be available in two power options: 300 kW (402 hp) and 370 kW (496 hp). The all-wheel drive version adds a front electric motor producing 215 kW (288 hp) to the rear motor.
