Car repair prices have risen to a record high in Russia

At the end of 12 months of 2025, the average bill for car maintenance and repair in Russia increased by 16%. The international network of car service centers Fit Service told the automobile magazine “Motor.Ru” about this. They noted that the average check for the year in the network was 11.7 thousand rubles.

“The number of standard hours per client increased by 10%, and the average number of spare parts purchased increased from 7.8 to 8.1 items per visit. This is a direct consequence of the aging of the fleet: the average age of a car in Russia exceeded 15 years, and more than 70% of cars are older than ten years,” said Fit Service Director Tatyana Ovchinnikova.

This year, the main driver of cost growth for service stations is not an increase in prices, but the complication of work.

Owners are forced to invest in extensive, labor-intensive work to keep their vehicles running.

Rising car maintenance costs are a new reality. In this situation, planned and regular maintenance plays a key role.

Proactive car care allows you to identify problems in the early stages, preventing sudden failures and significant costs for complex repairs, the specialist noted.
