It will enter the Chinese market under the Qiyuan brand and is currently designated C798. This is a hybrid with a choice of naturally aspirated or turbocharged engine, equipped with a head-up display with augmented reality, 16 speakers and a huge panoramic roof. Claimed fuel consumption is less than 5 liters per 100 kilometers.
The Changan-owned brand Qiyuan has declassified the interior of the C798 crossover. The flagship should hit the market next year, and it will be the most richly equipped model of the Changan and indeed the entire Qiyuan line. There are two certified modifications, both plugin-hybrid. The younger one is equipped with a naturally aspirated 1.5 (98 hp), the older one is equipped with a turbo engine of the same volume (150 hp).

On pure electricity, a crossover with a naturally aspirated engine travels 111–166 kilometers according to the passport (depending on the battery capacity), with a turbo unit – 163. Apparently, in both cases, the mileage is indicated according to the CLTC cycle. Average fuel consumption is 4.95–4.98 liters for the naturally aspirated engine and 4.99 liters for the turbo engine. At the same time, the C798 is slightly smaller in size than the current BMW X5.
Equipment includes a head-up display with augmented reality (it acts as a dashboard, since there is no separate screen), a 12.8-inch diagonal central screen, a zero-gravity seat for the front passenger, a heated and ventilated rear sofa, a 1-length panoramic roof ,2 meters, background lighting with 256 colors and sunblinds controlled by individual buttons.
The interior, as can be seen in the photographs, is designed in a minimalist style. For example, there is nothing on the center console except two wireless charging pads, cup holders and a hinged box. There are two color schemes: orange and white. The three-spoke steering wheel is heated, and on the column you can see the transmission mode shift lever.
