Changan presented a cheaper Lumin hatchback without active safety systems

The main feature was the record low price, which in terms of the current exchange rate is about 500 thousand rubles. This is the cheapest car in the automaker’s lineup.

Unlike other trim levels, the cheaper Lumin lost its front passenger airbag. A number of active safety systems have been removed: Traction Control (ASR), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Brake Assist (BA) and Hill Start Control (HHC).

Rear disc brakes have been replaced with drum brakes. The multifunction steering wheel has been replaced with a regular one. There are no audio speakers or a 10.25-inch central touchscreen. Accordingly, the rear view camera has also been removed. To assist with parking, only rear parking sensors remain.

The electric vehicle is equipped with a 48-horsepower (35 kW) electric motor on the front axle with a torque of 85 Nm. According to the stated data, the power reserve is 205 km, and the maximum speed is limited to 101 km/h.

Earlier it was reported that in Russia they sell a VAZ-2101 with lambo doors and a powerful engine.
