Chery Tiggo 9 is already in Kazakhstan: it costs a third cheaper than in Russia

On the market of Kazakhstan, the flagship crossover of CHERY entered the only configuration of Flagship. “Chinese cars” drew attention to the fact that the equipment of Tiggo 9 is comparable to Ultra, available in Russia, just cost much cheaper. So, in Kazakhstan, a crossover can be bought for 20 million tenge (3.4 million rubles), and in Russia five million rubles are asked for Tiggo 9 Ultra.

SHEY TIGGO 9 entered the Russian market at the end of 2024. The model took the position of the flagship of the local model line – it is larger and more bonus than others, while the salon is designed for seven people. With a length of 4.81 meters, the crossover has a 2.8-meter wheelbase, and GAC GS8 in the main competitors. In Russia, a large crossover is available in the only modification with a two -liter turbo engine with a capacity of 249 horsepower. The pair is an eight-band automato, and the drive is complete to the Torque-on-Demand with a multi-disable clutch in a single constructive module with the rear differential.

The model has two sets, Prime and Ultra, and as of early April, they cost from 4,750,000 and 5,050,000 rubles excluding discounts. The Ultra performance list, which corresponds to the Flagship configuration in Kazakhstan, includes 20-inch wheels, ten airbags, adaptive cruise control, leather interior, LED optics, panoramic roof, digital dashboard 10.3 inches, projection display, multimedia 15.6 inch, chambers system, system of chambers circular review with the function of a “transparent” hood and so on.

The actual Chery line in Kazakhstan includes, in addition to Tiggo 9, Tiggo 2 Pro (from 7.9 million tenge or 1.3 million rubles), Tiggo 4 Pro (from 9.6 million tenge or 1.57 million rubles) and new Tiggo 4 (from 10.5 million tenge or 1.72 million rubles), Tiggo 7 Pro/Pro Max (11.6 million tenge or 1.9 million rubles), Arrizo 8 (13.9 million tenge or 2.28 million rubles), as well as Tiggo 8 Pro/Pro Max (15.3 million tenge or 2.5 million rubles).
