Chevrolet has built a racing electric pickup. It almost entirely repeats the serial Silverado EV, but equipped with Multimatic shock absorbers, bottom protection and mud tires. In the future, the model will have a similar product version called Trail Boss.
One of the participants in the annual Mint 400 race in Nevada will be the Chevrolet Silverado EV ZR2 prototype. The truck will perform in the Open Production EV class, and, despite the fact that it is declared as a concept, its design is 98% of serial details. The Silverado EV ZR2 is driven by a three -engine power plant from the GMC Hummer EV with a dedication of 1115 horsepower and 15,592 nm of torque (the value is indicated on wheels, taking into account the gear ratio of the gearbox).
Chevrolet Electric Chevrolet Blazer turned into a three -engine racing prototype
The racing pick -up from the serial Silverado EV differs not only in the number of engines and power, but also with a modified suspension. In front and behind, it is lift and tuned to high -speed off -road driving. Shock absorbers – Multimatic Adaptive Spool Valve. There are also differential locks, bottom protection and 37-inch BFGOODRICH MUD Terran T/A KM3 tires-the same is placed on the Ford Bronco DR.
Silverado EV ZR2 does not turn into the serial model. Instead, in the summer, Chevrolet will release Silverado EV Trail Boss – the first electric car with factory off -road tuning. An enlarged road clearance is promised (in the usual Silverado EV-226 mm), 18-inch wheels with tires with an external diameter of 35 inches, red towing eyes and a new Terran Mode sediment profile for better maneuverability in constrained conditions.
