Dacia will release a cross-station wagon called Striker

Romanian automaker Dacia (owned by the Renault group) has published a video announcing the all-new Striker model. This is a station wagon that will have crossover ground clearance. The new product will be based on the well-known CMF-B platform, that is, the car will be the closest relative of Logan, Sandero and Duster.

The range will include petrol, gas and petrol versions. The main competitor for the future new product will most likely be the Skoda Octavia, but the Dacia Striker should offer a lower price.

Expect inexpensive, durable and easy-to-clean materials in the interior trim. Considering the portrait of a typical station wagon buyer, the creators of the car put practicality first.

According to the latest reports, the production of five-door cars will be established at the Turkish plant of the Renault group, and the Romanian Dacia plant will focus on the production of crossovers.
