Dealers cannot sell Skywell cars in Russia

This car company left the Russian car market a year ago. Relevant advertisements for the sale of cars of this brand are still posted on specialized classified platforms.

Judging by the advertisements, dealers are offering the 2023 Skywell ET5 and Skywell HT-i models; the price for the ET5 crossover without mileage is 2.85 million rubles. The Chinese concern Skywell of Stephen Wong, which initially built a business on the production of consumer electronics, buses and real estate transactions, in 2017 founded a related auto business – the production of Skyworth Auto passenger cars. In 2020, the company began producing passenger crossovers, and in 2022 it entered the Russian market.

After the start of deliveries of ET5 electric vehicles and HT-i hybrids, the brand encountered low demand in Russia. At the beginning of 2025, the company announced the cessation of supplies and the winding down of its activities in the Russian market.

“All brand vehicles will continue to receive the necessary technical maintenance in full. Warranty service, as before, will be carried out through certified partners of the company,” wrote RG with reference to the official representative of the brand at Skywell in Russia.

At that time, a small number of Skywell 2022 and 2023 models remained in stock in other Russian cities. They have not completely disappeared, as one can judge from the advertisements; up to several dozen cars remain unsold.

Earlier it was reported that Ferrari will show the first electric car, Luce, created by an ex-Apple designer.
