A bill was introduced to the lower house of parliament, according to which carriers will not be able to increase prices for passenger cars for passengers with more than five percent of the initial cost. In this case, price adjustment will be possible only if passengers need the presence of a children’s holding device. In addition, taxi are obliged to install children’s chairs in half the cars.

During the discussion of the bill, deputies said that today carriers can increase the cost of a trip by 50 percent during the order, if the charterer indicates the need for a children’s chair during the trip. At the same time, such devices are absent in most taxi cars, which reduces the availability of services for passengers with children, and also increases expenses compared to other passengers.
