Designers VAZ-2101, VAZ-2105 and UAZ “Hunter” went on sale

The Russian manufacturer of block construction sets received a license from the Volzhsky and Ulyanovsk Automobile Plants to produce prefabricated scale models with high detail. As Motor magazine found out, a copy of the UAZ Hunter costs 2 thousand, VAZ-2105 – 3 thousand, and VAZ-2101 – 7.5 thousand rubles.

The licensed designer VAZ-2101 consists of 1182 parts. The finished car opens the front doors, hood and trunk, and the interior and engine compartment are also detailed.

The prefabricated VAZ-2105 is a more compact model of the legendary “classic”, so the set consists of fewer elements – there are only 358 blocks, and the car is less carefully designed.

UAZ “Hunter” can be considered a golden mean. The most affordable kit of all has 505 parts, but there’s a fake engine under the opening hood.
