Everything is official: prices for the Rox 01 hybrid with a full guarantee have been revealed

Rox Motor announced its official entry into the Russian market. The first-born of the brand in Russia will be the brutal hybrid crossover 01 – the first batch of cars, which will have a warranty of five years or 150 thousand kilometers, is already on the way. Russians are familiar with this model, since before that it was supplied to the country through parallel channels under the name Polestone 01. “Motor” found out how much official cars will cost and what problems their purchase “in vain” could result in.

During the presentation, which took place in Moscow on December 19, the initial retail prices of two versions of Rox 01 were announced: a hybrid with a seven-seat cabin in the Family Edition costs 9,169,000 rubles, and the Business Lounge Edition with six seats will cost 9,379,000 rubles. Deliveries are organized from the BAW (Beijing Automobile Works) plant in Qingdao, China. The Russian distributor plans to organize three spare parts warehouses in different parts of Russia, and subsequently expand the model line with two smaller crossovers – Rox 02 and Rox 03. But this will not happen before 2026-2027.

In the meantime, Rox will sell only one model, the crossover 01. This is a full-size SUV with a length of 5295 millimeters (including the spare wheel on the fifth door) with a wheelbase of 3010 millimeters, which will compete with the Lixian L9. It is driven by a hybrid installation consisting of a 1.5-liter gasoline internal combustion engine and two electric motors – in total they develop 476 horsepower and 740 Nm of torque. The installation can operate in three modes: hybrid, with priority to internal combustion engines or electric motors.

Rox claims an average combined fuel consumption of 7.95 liters per 100 kilometers and a total range of 1,300 kilometers. Acceleration from zero to “hundreds” is 5.5 seconds.

For the crossover in six- and seven-seater versions, a Black Edition will be available, costing 9,229,000 and 9,449,000 rubles, respectively. The black version features black Rox emblems and black rims.

With the official entry of Rox into the Russian market, the company promised to limit the supply of cars through parallel imports. From December 2024, a monitoring system will be introduced for vehicles not intended for the local market: if they are detected outside China, all three screens in the cabin – a 12.3-inch driver display, a 15.7-inch information screen on the center panel and The 15.6-inch in-box entertainment display for the second row of seats will be disabled remotely. They can only be unlocked by contacting the manufacturer’s office in China.

In a conversation with Motor, a representative of the brand clarified that cars imported to Russia before December 2024 will not be subject to blocking.
