However, some companies are trying to level the lack of spare parts.

Two Japanese automakers at once launched their spare parts: for this, Mazda registered the MZD brand in Russia, and Subaru – Symmetric 4 Parts, which cover various categories of consumables.

At the same time, there is a difficulty in the purchase of body spare parts for most brands, with the exception of LADA: less options, longer terms, higher cost. “Prices for used spare parts have also risen, especially when compared from 2021-22 years,” said Tatyana Ovchinnikova, director of the International Fit Service Auto Service Network. She notes that “there are no problems in the Chinese park with“ consumables ”, but slightly rare spare parts should still be waiting for up to three months. Although, in general, the situation has improved significantly.

The rise in price has affected all categories of components and consumables, and price increases is ahead of inflation. “We analyze the running parts-indicators and see that according to common brands, prices in March 2025 in relation to March 2024 occurred at 15-25 percent,” Ovchinnikov told reporters. – There are some positions in which there was a decrease in prices, for example, for running spare parts for German cars. But on average, growth in all brands for “consumables” amounted to about 15 percent. ”

It is difficult to find body parts in the country for rare cars or models that have been discontinued. It is not easy to find electronic components, spare parts for electric vehicles, details with new safety systems and assistance to the ADAS driver.

The Russian market is now actively mastered by Chinese manufacturers who produce analogues, including for Japanese and European models, which allows you to partially compensate for the shortage of original parts.
